Six at Six

First off I started writing this post at 6pm as soon as i got off work, so my title was accurate and then like always life interfered. :)

My six at six for today, has to do with my new business with Arbonne International, and although I am just now jumping in I have already learned so much!!!

1. When you start working with a network marketing company your phone bill goes way up! Which is kinda awesome in a way because it forces you to talk to people that you know, or new people and I have already had so many great conversations
2. You get way less afraid of the word no. I remember hating the word "No" as a child so much. Ask you mom can I have a cookie, the answer tended to be no, partially because I wanted cookies at 10am but thats another story. Everytime I hear the word no, now it just spurs me on to talk to one more person until I hear the word yes!!
3. You get a lot of compliments. I have been using a few of Arbonnes products lately and my have the compliments gone up. I mean thats just awesome, to find a product you love that actually works, and a little big of an ego boost as an additional bonus.
4. You get mail!! Because I am partially working from home and needing to order a few things, like catalogs, samples, fun goodies for my self. I have been getting more mail lately, and I mean who does not love getting mail.

5. I love my job! I get to change people lives with lipstick, Arbonne changes peoples lives, and I get to be part of that. Exciting is it not?

6. I know I am totally biased because I work for them, I honestly can say its so easy to do your job in a network marketing industry when you love the products you sell. Thanks Arbonne for making my job so fantastic!

Five Things I learned in Alaska/Canada

1. Not every Canadian says Eh' or has seen a moose or knows a Mountie, or any of those fun Canadian stereotypes however, do not ask them about Hockey or else you are in for it!  I got in the longest conversation with a bartended, when I asked him he was a hockey fan, it pretty much consisted of me getting yelled at about how Americans dont know anything about Hockey.  I know a thing or two about Hockey, I did grow up on the Mighty Ducks movies after all! :) (I joke, I joke)
2. Pretty much everyone who actually was from Alaska asked me if I was from California, and I would ask them How they knew, they said it was because I was blonde. So apparently if you are blonde you are a Californian!
3. Alaska is insanely pretty! Now I get why people would suck it up and a live there, even thoughs, its stinking cold!

4. There are not very many young people that go to Alaska on vacation, its more a place older people tend to go, which makes it great to go to because people are really nice to you if your the only young one, I got a few free drinks, and there are pretty hikes, and things you maybe cant do later on. So go if you ever get the chance, it was beautiful!
5. Even though its cold in Alaska there are not polar bears or penguins! The amount of times, I heard people ask that, shocked me! There are multiple other species of bears though and puffins!

Five Things I learned by being a complete Spaz!

1. Every time a girl trips in a movie there is a cute boy there to catch her. This is purely fiction. There has never once been a cute guy waiting when I trip it has always been a ground full of asphalt waiting for me, or a nice big mud puddle, when I am on my way to an important meeting.
2. You will never spill/break/drop/etc. anything when you have the time to clean it up, it will always be when you are really late somewhere, or in my case you spill the coffee grounds the day your neighbor borrows your broom and then is not home to get it back, and you are ten minutes late to work.
3.You honestly can trip over air, trust me I've done it!!!
4. If you are trying really hard not to do anything stupid, you will do something stupid. Example, waving to the cute guys in the car that waved to you is good in theory unless you are on a moving bicycle and you did not notice the huge pile of leaves in front of you, and oh yeah that parked car. and to top it off, the cute boys in the car, got stopped at a red light, so they saw the whole thing.
5. If you are going to fall you might as well play it off well. Fell down a flight of stairs recently and told the couple that saw me that I was practicing a new dance move, for a second they believed me, then they helped me up and told me that I might want to take the elevator from now on! :)

Why I Shouldn't Make Lists at 1:36 in the Morning!

I've started a few blogs, but then let them go by the wayside so now I am making it my goal to actually maintain my blog. Since it is 1 am and I have to be up in a few hours, since I am the wedding planner for  dear friends wedding tomorrow/today (since it is past midnight) I will keep tonight's entry pretty short and sweet and give you ten random things about me so that you can get to know me better. I would love it, if you responded with ten about yourself!    

1. I really don't like squirrels it stems from living in Chico, California where I think there are the biggest squirrels in the world, and they are not afraid of people whatsoever! But I found this stamp the other day and it made me super happy! 

2. I only like wearing matching pajamas. I know weird, right? But it makes me kinda sad to go to bed in not matching sweats so I always try and match them up! Right now they are blue with yellow polka dots, and they totally match! Yay, its going to be a good night!
3. I love love love graffiti! I know its illegal and that illegal things, are never good, but the artwork and intricate-ness of it all blows my mind. This is a favorite of mine lately

4. I'm actually a really big football fan. The 49ers are my absolute favorite team ( I know, I know, but hey they are getting better, Superbowl 2011 here we come!!)

5. I am obsessed with things for my kitchen. I bought a blender a few days ago and I honesly was giddy for the rest of the day! I've only used it once so far but hey I can say I have a blender now. I also have orange plates, blue bowls and the best of all is yellow jars! Yes you heard me correctly I am this excited over jars! But pretty much any gadget, or addition for my kitchen makes me super happy!
6. I used to be on a traveling jump rope team, called Jammin' Jumpers! We we're legit! Enough Said....
7. I really really like my label maker at work. My co-workers make fun of me, because the most exciting day for me in the office, was the day my boss brought me a cost-co package of label maker tape.
8. I have really small feet, like oddly small. Most of my shoes I buy in the kids section.
9. Bibles and Coffee make my day get like 10 million times better no matter what. I have a crazy job sometimes, and people can manage to make a good day go downhill fast, but a yummy cup of coffee and spending time in the word will always make me day 100% better again.

10. I love God with all of my heart. That is the most important thing to know about me, I love talking about God, I love spending time with Christ, I love praising Jesus and every aspect of my relationship with my Heavenly Father!
